If you are looking to work, live or study in an English-speaking country, then you must be able to demonstrate a high level of English language ability. IELTS exam score is accepted in more than 140 countries including UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, and Canada. • In this video we are presenting a general overview of IELTS exam. • What is IELTS??? • IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is a test of English language proficiency for non-native English speakers. Your ability to LISTEN, READ, WRITE and SPEAK in English will be assessed during the test. IELTS is graded on a scale of 1-9. • • There are two main forms of IELTS test, ACADEMIC and GENERAL. The former is for those who are interested in studying in English speaking country where as latter is required for migrating to English-speaking countries including Australia, Canada, UK, New Zealand and USA. Speaking and listening test are same in both academic and general while writing and speaking are different. • IELTS can be either computer based or pen and paper based.
