Today I'm going to show you have to install the AVS Autovent Shade Hoodflector Bug Shield onto this 2014 Chevy Silverado. • As you can see here, the Hoodflector Bug Shield comes with everything that you need to put this onto your truck. It comes with, of course, the bug shield, and also your clips, your machine screws, the black washers, the protective film for the hood, the bump-ons, and also your alcohol prep pads for cleaning and prepping the surface. So let's get this on the truck. • Wipe down the surface with the alcohol prep pad, and once that is done we'll open the hood. Okay, then we're going to take our clips and our machine screw and our flat-black washer, and we're going to attach these to the bug shield. • All right, once we have our clips attached, then we want to center our Hoodflector Bug Shield onto our hood. We'll use a grease pencil to mark the center of the clips on both ends. Then we'll take our bug shield back down. Then we have this protective film that comes along with the bug shield. We're going to put that on there, and that will help protect our paint from the clips. Just center it onto your grease mark and then split it on the upper and lower halves of the hood. We'll do that on both sides. • All right, we want to take this backing and peel back about two inches from each end. All right once that's done, we're ready to install this onto the front of our truck. Now, we're going to attach our clips on each end, and we're just going to center them back on where we have our mark in our protective film. • Okay, now once those are on there, we'll close the hood, gently. Then we're going to take our backing material and pull it out of here. Then just press down on the inside of this to make sure that it sticks really well. The next thing we're going to do after we've got our Hoodflector Bug Shield on here is we're going to attach our stop-ons. So what we're going to do is clean up the surface where we're going to put those. Then we're going to peel off the backing. Then we'll stick them right in behind here and press down on them to hold them on there. 866-554-0581 Free shipping for orders over $100!
