Tom Bewick, an international program specialist with Nature4Climate, spoke with the Nature+ Newsroom on November 14 at COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. He talked about working with local communities in the Amazon rainforest to use technology such as satellites, smartphone apps, and drones to reduce deforestation.
