Before starting, make sure you are using the best lubricant possible for this job. We recommend something either petroleum based or silicone based. These tend to last longer and not leave any streaks or runniness. • 2. After you have your lube, push the back into a reclined position, this will expose the black tracks at the base of the back. • 3. Apply some lube to this area and flex the chair back and forth a few times to fully apply the lube throughout the mechanism. • 4. This should fix the issue. If it does not try re applying a little more lube, if that doesn’t work then the problem may need a deeper diagnosis.
