Take rhythm for instance. Your ability to detect and predict rhythm can impact on your ability to anticipate movements, to throw a punch at the perfect time and to ensure your footing is right as you approach a jump or a climb. • Rhythm is linked to our ability to percieve time (a video for a future date!) but also to our ability to visualize. It seems that this is once again an example of our inner 'physics engine'.
