Splitrock Reservoir is a good location to do hiking and paddling. While at the lake, I hike and do some fishing for Bluegill. One thing to note is launching your kayak or canoe can be challenging as it is rocky and far from the parking lot. • Update: I returned to hike at Splitrock Reservoir in the winter of 2020 (since the making of my this video), and I confirm that the boat launch area is improved, with a two launch piers.
