My Kumarakom stay was literally 1 night and it ended up being a staycation of sorts. Had such a relaxed time at Taj Kumarakom Resort. The village is surrounded by the Vembanad Lake and of course does have scenic backwaters. In fact I feel the boat ride here was one of my best ones in Kerala. You could also take a typical Kerala houseboat experience here and that will give you that Kerala backwaters feel. Much more stunning than Alleppey in my opinion. • You can also visit the Bird Sanctuary in Kumarakom.
