In face they’re one of my favorites! • Penguins have wings but can’t fly. • *They stay warm even when it is very cold because they have stiff feathers. • Penguins live in groups called colonies and they are very noisy. • They mostly eat small fish, crustaceans and squid. • Penguins spend about half of their time on water and half on land. • When they sleep, its is only for a few minutes. Reading is one of the most important skills for children in preschool, kindergarten, first and second grade to develop (and in the higher grades of course). Read Aloud kids books are just another way to help students develop this love for reading! • I specialize in nonfiction books for kids, because they are rich in vocabulary and have engaging, real pictures for students to see!
