Slamming in before the end of the year: Another Video Exclusive! • Here it comes: The dual tariff version of an instrument I own. • • So then, fellow loadwheel lovers! Coming in with ANOTHER kWh • meter not seen on Wayne's Electrical before, we have the GEC • C11B2-R. Being acquired straight out of service, this one is most • certainly collection-standard. It's already reasonably clean tidy! • Characteristics for GEC C11B2-R: • Single phase, Two wire. 240v, 50Hz 20-80A. 200 revs = kWh. • • ------------------------------------------------------------------------ • See the single-tariff version here... The C11B2: • • Electricity Meter : GEC C11B2 kWh meter. • ------------------------------------------------------------------------ • • Straight out of service, complete with original seals, this one can • be confirmed as having a pair of original in-service, un-tampered • meter readings. As like any instrument, what cannot be known • without metering records dating back to when the instrument was • nice, new shiny, is how many times each of the readouts have • gone 'around-the-clock'. • This instrument is from the 1980s, so it can be said that at least • one of the readouts have gone around at least once! Strangely, there is a re-certification label on this, but for • whatever reason it may be, it has been stuck onto the rear of the • instrument and reads: 03-94. This would be March 1994, which • is thirteen years after its first calibration. • As like any other meter I admit into the collection, it goes through • a series of checks and videos.
