A beautiful young woman whose life was brutally taken in the Aurora Co Theater shooting 7/20/12. I did not know Rebecca personally. She came into my life after she died. Rebecca was a friend of Xiren's band, and Facebook postings of her passing is how I came to know of her. The news media coverage, (outrageously invasive as it was), allowed the public a small glance into her life. This woman had two baby girls. A single mom who loved her children, food, and music. In that order . I was shaken by this tragic event. The whole community was. It could have been any one of us there that night. This song literally wrote itself in 30 minutes. The whole thing. I believe she may have sent it to me. Who knows. This I do know, her babies need her. This tune is for them. All proceeds it generates go to a trust set up for those girls.
