JB Weld white RTV silicone is an all-purpose silicone that can be used as a sealant or an adhesive gasket. RTV silicone cures from the moisture in the air. It creates a waterproof, mold and mildew-resistant seal that stays flexible. It will not shrink, or crack and resists weathering. For the best results, clean and dry the area, apply an even, continuous 1/4 bead on one surface, and connect the parts while the silicone is wet, hand-tighten until the silicone squeezes out, and let it dry for an hour then tighten an additional half turn. You can scrape or cut away the excess silicone.
