A large acrylic painting by Hermann Wagner, titled St Moritz Silvaplana , depicts an autumnal landscape using yellows, blues, and browns, with expressive brushstrokes that create texture and depth. The painting, signed by Wagner and titled on the back, measures 125 x 90 cm. Wagner, a German artist born in 1943, studied at the Nuremberg Art Academy and lived between Germany and Ireland. He regularly exhibited in both countries, and his works have performed well at auctions. This piece comes from the private collection of John Nolan, an Irish artist with whom Wagner shared a studio for many years. • We have our regular Timed Auction this week.
