PSEUDOTUNESMITH is a musical collective/magical realism movement constructed by would-be teenage anarchists/theatre nerds in an asbestos-laden basement in San Jose, California in 1991. Their musical styles range from improvised lo-fi social commentary to playful edgelord (pledgelord) anti-folk pop. The band performed their first (traditional) show in 1993 after which it was determined that the band would never be allowed to break up. Sadly, for members of Pseudotunesmith, there is no escape from this contractual obligation. Not even in death will they find release. • The song Exit With The Turtle is perhaps the first song composed by Pseudotunesmith. The song consists of three chords: E, G, and A (in that order).
