This video demonstrates the design and simulation of the Flyback Converter / isolated DC-DC Converter using MATLAB/Simulink. Flyback Converter is an isolated Buck-Boost converter used in SMPS applications. One of the major advantages of the Flyback converter is it provides electrical isolation used for protection purposes. The design is focused on a hardware approach that requires turns ratio and inductance Lm. However, in Matlab, we can directly enter the voltages at primary and secondary.
