Getting a bike licence in the UK can be a bit confusing when you start learning. There is essentially four types of licence, AM, A1, A2 and A. • AM and A1 are in my opinion are the type of licence you would go for if you really needed at full licence at 16 or 17 years old, i.e work related. To save costs I would recommend doing your CBT and waiting until you're 19 and doing your A2 which would allow you to apply for your A licence at 21 rather than 24.
