So unaware that their fates were sealed the second the stepped off of their boats and horses. Boys who still haven't learned what this life truly is. How cruel it can be. • • I learned at an early age that life is pain. When I was taken from my home, taken from my family, there was no help for me, no god to appease my suffering and take revenge on my captors. I had no one, nothing. That changes a young boy. Before my release I was forced to work in the slaughterhouse, tearing apart other beings no less helpless than myself. I would watch the pure fear and confusion in their eyes. I felt something in my chest, some visceral covenant deep down as I pulled out the bones. • I acquired, certain, abilities. I know when to be silent, I know how to wait for just the right moment, and I know how to get inside a man’s head. I still see that look of confusion, of absolute uncertainty on the face of my enemies as they watch their life spill onto the grass. • The horror that has happened in this place is of truly unholy origin. A mere glimpse of the walking corpses and infested abominations is enough to petrify most. The hunter’s association think they can stop this if they throw enough lives at it. Those men are so blind they think all it takes is gunpowder and money and anything can be solved. Incredulous, even in the face of truth. • I will show them. I know why these beings are here and what has taken place in these lands. I’ll send every one of these entities back to the godforsaken hole they’ve crawled out of. Some of the others come here purely out of greed. An outrageous lust for violence drives others.
