Brothers of a broken home, one whose wings were clipped and the other who never left the ground. • This video follows the story of Raveneye, his brother Sootspot and their parents Obisdianfang and Crowingheart (leader of Corvidclan at the time) • An arranged relationship for power and honor; Obsidianfang loved the status and achieving success in life but simultaneously disliked and feared her mate, his tyrannical aspirations and methods. Albeit she did not condone his ways, she couldn’t care less about the ones suffering at his paws. • In her desires for a perfect life a, to her, good mother was one of her main goals. However she didn’t want Crowingheart partaking in raising the kit; tainting it with his corrupted soul. And so the agreement was made for him to raise their firstborn Ravenkit as she raised the younger Sootkit. • Crowingheart was a brutal father, training his son from an early age, disciplining him with force and fear. Obsidianfang on the other hand coddled and spoiled Sootkit whilst doing all in her power to keep Ravenkit and his father away from them. • Going from happy, playful siblings to a strained bond with one end constantly pushed to his limits and the other naive and oblivious; Sootkit desired to partake in the training to become a warrior together with his brother and Ravenkit I’m jealous suffering deeply longed for comfort and parental love whilst abiding to the rules of keeping away from his mother and brother. Not wanting Sootkit to suffer the same he silently kept his distance. • The bond would break after Ravenpaw’s tragic incident that took his eye and the pressure and distress weighted too much. He couldn’t stand Sootpaw’s ignorant yet wonderous wishes to be like him, be like his father. In a fit of rage he snapped at his younger brother, scolding and yelling at him. • After that the brothers went along with their lives growing up independently and only addressing each other for warrior duties. Sootpaw could only watch in silent shock as Ravenpaw ended his father the day he threw him of the pike rock’s cliffs and eventually took over the role as leader.
