This tracks the top 50 largest and most liquid stocks in Europe by free float market cap. This was designed to provide a bluechip representation of Super sector leaders in the Eurozone. This is reviewed every year. You have such companies like Adidas, Airbus, Nokia, Philips, Siemens, TOTAL S.A. Unilever, Vivendi, Volkswagen Group..etc On CFD providers this is referred as the EU50 index and the average bid-offer spread on this could be something around 2pts. The average range per day is around 20pts. As such this is not a great market to day trade if you're dealing multiple times in a day. This is less popular amongst traders than the FTSE or DAX for obvious reasons.
