Jeera Rice Recipe In Pressure Cooker | Healthy Jeera Rice Recipe | Jeera Rice | Quick Jeera Rice Recipe | Zeera Rice Recipe | Jeera Chawal Recipe | How to Make Jeera Rice | Spice Eats Recipes • • Ingredients for Jeera Rice: • (Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon) • Basmati Rice- 2 cups (around 350 gms) • Whole Spices: • Cumin seeds-2 tsp • Green Cardamom- 4 • Cloves- 4 • Cinnamon- 4 pcs • Black Peppercorns- 12-15 • Other Ingredients: • Onion, thick chopped - 1 medium (70 gms) • Green Chillies, cut- 4 • Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp • Ghee -3 tbsp • Salt for seasoning- 2 tsp or to taste • Coriander leaves, fine chopped - 4 tbsp • Preparation: • Wash and soak the basmati rice for 30 mins. • Cut the green Chillies and chop the coriander leaves. • Process: • Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add the whole garam masala. Give a mix then add the cumin(jeera) seeds. • Give a mix again and once it splutters, add the chopped onions. Fry on medium heat for 2 mins till translucent . • Add the turmeric powder and the cut green fry on low heat for 1 min. • Add the drained rice and give a mix then add the chopped coriander leaves. • Mix well and stir fry on low heat for 1 min • Now add 3 cups water and add salt. Give a mix and increase heat to medium high/high. Close the lid and pressure cook on high heat till one whistle.
