Introduction To Kinematics

Hi everybody, Finally I will be starting a proper course on Kinematics. I will be using this format for atleast first few hours of episodes. Maybe later I will go back to black board style or something like that, I find this convenient and easy to edit and give you some quality education. • Kinematics is the study of motion with out studying about forces. We will talk about velocities, accelerations, rockets, cars, aeroplanes, all sorts of cool and fun things. • We will also be throwing stones from towers just for the heck of it. • Kinematics in 1D is the simplest and most basic thing to study in physics. That is why I always like to teach this first. • The only pre-requisites needed for this is basic algebra like equation solving (linear and quadratic) • Simultaneous equation solving • Basic ideas about graphs (don't worry, I will cover this in great detail) • Also calculus would be awesome, but don't you worry, I will take care of calculus as a part of the course. So I only expect you to have basic knowledge of simple algebra. • And if a lot of you request me, then I will also make supplement videos on those basic maths, so let us see how it goes. • I am really pumped up to teach this course on youtube. I will also include assignment problems, for you to check your understanding. I just need to figure out, where to upload. Maybe I will do it in Udemy. • So do subscribe if you too want to learn this course intuitively and not just by mugging up formulae and stuff. • Kinematics is also the most important piece of physics, as it will be used again and again in all other parts of physics as I mention in the episode. • So whether you are preparing for AP physics exam or for some competitive tests like IIT, JEE, this course would be definitely meant for you. • So I hope I will see you for Kinematic 1D course. See you, have a nice day. • Oh yea, almost forgot, you can follow me on • / floatheadphysix • I don't have a twitter page yet, will have one soon :P • Time to credit the background music. • www.bensound.com • Youtube - Hot Rock - Music ⓒ - Kevin MacLeod • Youtube has some amazingly cool background music, you should definitely check out their library if you need some. Also Bensound.com is awesome, do take a visit there, if you need some for your own videos. • Okay, take care, bye
