Malgrats Marine Reserve • The marine area around the Malgrats islands (Calvia, Mallorca) and close by waters off the coast, have a high ecological value also for fishing because of its diversity of habitats, benthic communities and local fish. The meadows of seagrass (Posidonia oceanica) occupy large areas. • The islands are located in the municipality of Calvia, in front of the bay of Santa Ponsa.
