#mitsubishi #mitsubishieclipsecross #eclipsecross • We just wrapped up a few hours with the all-new 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross -- yes, 2022...Mitsubishi Motors is SKIPPING the 2021 model year for the Eclipse Cross all together! This new version is 5” longer than its predecessor, has more technology and has a totally redesigned front rear. That annoying split rear window has been eliminated, which increases visibility. The new Eclipse Cross comes standard with frontal crash mitigation, lane departure warning half a dozen + airbags. The engine is the same across all trim levels: a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo pumping out 152hp...it could definitely use more power a more refined engine sound, but the initial surge of acceleration is adequate for most drivers. The interior has been redesigned, too, but still has some “bargain” problems - cheap black plastic abounds and the leather seats could be higher quality. On the bright side, Head Up Display and rear heated seats are available, as is a premium Mitsubishi sound system, a panoramic sunroof and an all-new gray leather upholstery option. This compact crossover comes in FWD or Mitsubishi's available Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) for a $1600 up charge. Does this redesign hit the mark??
