LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE. • In this video we take a look at how to remove the front panel from a computer case. This will allow access to the front case or for the removal and installation of the DVD-RW Drive or Blu-Ray drive. Unplug the Power Cable • Remove All External Cables and Attachments. • Remove the Side Panel Retaining Screws. • Remove the Case Side Panel. • If you remove side covers usually two thumb screws in the back on each side, you should be able to see, or feel, inside the front edges on each side of the case. Most cases have two or three split pegs on each side holding the front panel on. Squeeze the ends of the pegs and push them forward and the front panel should pop off. Just be aware that there are going to be a bunch of cables running from your front I/O panel to your motherboard, PSU, and probably fans too. Either take care to note how they're all connected so you can reconnect them afterward, or just separate the front panel from the chassis just enough to do whatever cleaning you need to do without pulling any of the cables loose. • If you enjoyed this video help others enjoy it by sharing this video with your friends: • And if you have any questions or comments, leave it in the comment section below. • If you would like to help support the channel then please check out: • PayPal Donations http://tiny.cc/afpehz • Link To My Other You Tube Channel: / @pcaltech • Affiliate link to banggood.com • https://www.banggood.com/custlink/mDD... • Affiliate link to Amazon.com • https://www.pcaltech.com/shop-online • This is the links below to things I used in this video: • Link to the GoPro HERO7 https://amzn.to/2RJ3v2l • Link to the Lavalier Lapel Microphone https://amzn.to/3gty3Qd • Link to the ZOOKKI Accessories Kit https://amzn.to/3v6oIS6 • Link to the Housing Case https://amzn.to/3n4wxFs • Affiliate disclaimer: • The links above are affiliate links, which will/may generate a sales commission.
