The Penacho de Moctezuma, the feather crown of Moctezuma, is the only artifact of its kind still in existence. The headdress was first mentioned in 1596 as part of a collection of a Tyrolean prince. The picture, which is over 500 years old and painted with watercolors, needs very special protection. Yet he had a highly sensitive and fragile personality.
