As part of my final year of BA Acting at the Arts University Bournemouth (AUB), I decided to create a short educational film based on domestic abuse and violence against men demonstrating the different sorts of abuse a woman can inflict upon a man, be it bullying, mind games, emotional blackmail and physical violence. Stereotype tends to assume that in such cases (in heterosexual relationships) the woman is the victim, whereas shockingly 40% of all domestic abuse victims are in fact male.
