Hey guys! Welcome to the final flight to this trip shot by thejazzmom13! Thank you to my mom once again for filming her flights to Europe and back! Today, I fly aboard a British Airways B787-9 Dreamliner from London, England over to Washington D.C., specifically Dulles, Virginia. Once again, British Airways had a fine service and product offering onboard and you really get that British charm feel when flying aboard this airline. Their Dreamliner aircraft are definitely BA's top of the line product and you feel that. The cabin is sleek, modern, fresh, and is equipped with large overhead bins, large windows as well as some great mood lighting! Some drawbacks though are the 3-3-3 layout and the legroom. The food onboard in Economy (World Traveller) is OK, but there could definitely be some further improvement in terms of taste and quantity. The IFE system was fully equipped with everything you'd need for this nearly 8 hour flight and there were USB ports and power outlets located at every seat as well as a WiFi offering. The crew was again very nice and the flight departed arrived on time...all big pros (especially timeliness, I've had some recent delayed flights on BA). As far as the airports, Heathrow is just truly massive and is a maze, but Terminal 5B was much more low-key than some other parts and was an enjoyable experience. The arriving experience at Dulles is your classic U.S. international arrivals experience, made worse by the fact that IAD isn't that memorable of an airport, to say the least. But, as for the flight, I think British Airways did a fine job and they're a reliable, steady option for transatlantic service. Nothing special, but classic.
