A review of the Ryanair flight from Cardiff Airport to Malta. It’s been a few years since we’ve tried Ryanair and as they now have two flights a week from Cardiff Airport we thought we would give them a try. Our full flight report can be found here: https://www.flydriveexplore.com/fligh... • Taking off from a wet and cloudy Cardiff for the 3 hours 10 minutes flight to the island of Malta on a Ryanair Boeing 737-800. Unfortunately because of the clouds and as it was a night flight, no views of the take-off. • The flight was pretty basic as you would expect with a budget airline but the outward and return flight were both on time. We had the extra legroom seats in row 2D and 2F. • The flight was full but unlike the horror stories you hear about Ryanair drunk passengers, everyone was well behaved. • Cardiff Airport was quick to get through and no queues at security although the food options aren’t the best and the service at the bar is very slow.
