Wind of Orient • カーヌーン奏者の増田真吾とキーボード奏者の平地正憲からなるプロジェクト。 • 2010年、増田と平地が即興を軸にした音楽を演奏する前身ユニットを結成。 • 当初は即興ライブの他、演劇の伴奏も行なっていたが、やがて平地によってオリジナル楽曲が書かれ、オリジナル楽曲やアラブ音楽のカバーなどをメインに演奏するようになる。 • 2013年に現在のWind of Orientに改名。 • 主軸はデュオではあるが、他の楽器やシンガー等を加えた編成でもライブを行っていた。 • 2015年に一度解散するが、2023年に新しい形での制作や活動を模索するため再始動。 • 人々の感情を音で揺さぶり、オリエンタルで穏やかで心地良いサウンドを追求。 • Wind of Orient • Masanori Hirachi / Keyboard • Shingo Masuda / Kanun • [Black Lizard ] • Music : Masanori Hirachi • • • • Wind of Orient • A project consisting of Shingo Masuda on qanun and Masanori Hirachi on Keyboard. • In 2010, Shingo and Masanori formed a predecessor band that performed music based on improvisation. • At first, they performed improvised live performances as well as accompaniment for theatrical performances, but eventually Masanori wrote his own composition, and the band began performing mainly original compositions and some covers of Arabic music. • In 2013, they changed their name to Wind of Orient. • Although the main focus of the group is a duo, they have also performed live with other instruments and singer. • They disbanded once in 2015, but restarted in 2023 to explore new forms of production and activities. • They pursue an oriental, calm, and comfortable sound, shaking people's emotions with their sound. • #WindofOrient #ShingoMasuda #MasanoriHirachi
