पट्टी, प्रतापगढ़, उत्तर प्रदेश • पट्टी भारत के उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के प्रतापगढ़ जिले का तहसील और विधान सभा क्षेत्र है। यह मूलतः अवध के अंतर्गत आता है। पट्टी तहसील अपने इतिहास के लिए भी जाना जाता है। तहसील मुख्यालय से लगभग 5 किलोमीटर दूरी पर महदहा और दमदमा जैसे मध्य पाषाण कालीन स्थल विद्यमान है। • वहीं मुख्यालय के समीप स्थित रूर गांव से सर्वप्रथम ऐतिहासिक अवध किसान आंदोलन का आरंभ किया गया था। • यहाँ पर स्थानीय लोगों के अलावा विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के लोग रहते हैं जैसे मारवाड़ी, जैन, बिहारी आदि। यहाँ का मेला बहुत प्रसिद्ध है, इस मेले को देखने के लिए यहाँ हर साल नवंबर महीने में हजारों की संख्या में लोग आते हैं। मेला शुरू होने से पूर्व यहाँ पर लगभग बारह दिनोंं तक भव्य रामलीला का आयोजन किया जाता है। • यातायात की दृष्टि से यह क्षेत्र भली भांति विकसित है। यहाँ बसें, मोटर साइकिल, सायकिल, जीप, कार, रिक्शा, ट्रक, इत्यादि वाहन बहुतायत चलते हैं। • Patti is a Nagar Panchayat city in the district of Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
