Quilts are cherished heirlooms in my family. My sister received a number of baby quilts when she recently had her first little one, so it's only fitting that I made her a quilt rack to display a couple of them. I temporarily installed the quilt rack on my wall to test it out and was very happy with the results. I think I'll need to make myself one as well. The quilt displayed on the picture was a collaboration by both of my grandmothers and given to me when I had my first child, 24 years go, since she was the first grandbaby in the family. • As with most of my projects, there's a story behind the lumber that I used. A coworker recently gave me a supply of beautiful oak lumber from his father. His father was a woodworker, however passed away a few years ago so Brian wanted to forward the lumber on to someone who would put it to good use so I gladly accepted it and felt it appropriate to make projects for the next generation with this lumber. • Check out my other YouTube videos, including my story at / wemuzo5zl-l • SUBSCRIBE for more project videos!! • INSTAGRAM: / twistedtwinewoodworking
