DEMO HERE: • Peavey Classic VTX Demo/Review (PART ... This is the review of my 80's Peavey Classic VTX. It is 65 watts and a hybrid amp. Tube power amp and solid state preamp. It's a little anemic sounding by itself when on a lower volume but when cranked, good tones can be had. Pair this amp with a good distortion or overdrive pedal and you get even better tones! The Scorpion speakers in this amp are very efficient and LOUD!
