We’re continuing to teach you guys about the primitive reflexes and this is a post to show you the moro reflex 🤩 • The Moro reflex develops in utero and typically integrates when a baby is about 4 months old should be totally integrated by month 6👶 • It’s a protective reflex that is triggered by a sudden change in head position or a noise. The arms legs flare out then tuck in - usually followed by crying 😢 • It is thought to be a survival reflex helping baby cling to its parent when a perceived threat appears 😱 Arms flare out abs pulls in rapidly to make baby regain its hold on mother’s or father’s body ❤️ • If unintegrated, the child may have trouble with coordination, adaptability, hypersensitivity distractibility. The child may be in a constant hypervigilant state which is stressful negatively affect the child’s behavior and concentration 😳 • An unintegrated Moro reflex in childhood may present as an exaggerated startle reflex as an adult. Reflex integration techniques help the child to progress through all the phases of the reflex movement pattern, promoting more normal movement and responses to stimuli 👍🏻 • Never be afraid of this reflex in daily life - it should be triggered in a safe setting through movement (dancing playing), sounds of everyday life and your infants own random movements - this helps it inhibit and matures the brain 👍🏻 • Was this helpful? Leave a 👍🏻 or 👎🏻 in the comments 🙏🏼 Please share with someone who might benefit from seeing this or repost to spread the knowledge 🥰 You might want to save it for your own use ❤️ • #baby #babydevelopment #babylife #babymilestone #babymilestones #reflex #reflexes #primitivereflexes #babyreflex #parents #parenting
