In the late 1980s Peter traveled by train to Jerez de la Frontera in the deep south of Spain. After years he would finally meet his great hero. And not only that. He would also take lessons of him. Manolo Sanlúcar. He learned a lot from him. • A few years ago he started composing a tribute to him. Because to this day he finds his music very special. It hits him again and again. The song Querido Sanlucar is the result of that. He has been performing since 1983, sharing the stage with, among others, Naike Ponce, Andrés Marín, Stochelo Rosenberg and Laura Fygi.
