There were many before him and certainly many after him that have done great things in boxing, but in his prime, David Tua and his achievements could not be matched or ignored. • Growing up in a boxing family myself, it lead me to write this song for his year 2000 title fight against Lennox Lewis. • Although his efforts in 2000 did not manifest the win, his legacy and name continue to echo in gyms and inspire new and upcoming Polynesian fighters in the sporting world.
