Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine’s new apprentice and now head of the Inquisitorius, received his master’s list of Order 66 survivors. The Grand Inquisitor pointed out the high-priority target: Jocasta Nu, the former Chief Librarian of the Jedi Archives. Nu, hoping to preserve the Jedi Order’s legacy, was already on the move, infiltrating the Imperial-controlled Jedi Temple to recover sacred artifacts. Vader pursued her through the Archives and onto the outer ledges of the Temple. Cornered by clone troopers, Jocasta Nu saw no way out and chose to leap into the abyss rather than face capture. But Vader used the Force to seize her mid-air, dragging her aboard his ship. When a clone offered to silence her Jedi lies, Nu boldly revealed they were taking orders from the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. In response, Vader violently Force-pushed all the clones from the ship, sending them plummeting into the depths of Coruscant before ending Jocasta Nu’s life.
