Easy Strawberry Shortcake Recipe with Bisquick Summer Dessert Recipes

One of our favorite spring/summer desserts! There are multiple variations of Strawberry Shortcake, but this one is simple and delicious. The perfect ending to a summer time dinner! • • 4 Cups of Strawberries, Sliced • • ½ Cup of Sugar • • 20 oz. Box of Bisquick • • 2 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil • • 2 Cups of Milk • • 1 Tbsp of Powder Sugar • • 3 Tbsp of Cool Whip • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. • Slice your strawberries to your desired size. Place them in a bowl, add the sugar and mix until fully incorporated. • Set aside for at least 30 minutes. • In a mixing bowl add the box of Bisquick, vegetable oil and milk. • Use a mixer and blend until smooth. It should have a cake batter consistency. • Grease an 8.5 X 11 baking dish and add your batter. • Cook for 15 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick pulls clean. • Once the cake is done, remove to cool. • Once cooled, slice a 2” X 2” slice. Split the cake in half horizontally. Lay one slice on a plate, add a layer of strawberries and cool whip.
