I'm still seeing the same hackers that I saw when I first started playing. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is turning into a big fail. VAC is working as intended, but it's not up to par with what IW said. • • Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 aimbots and wallhacks •    • Call of Duty 6 Modern Warfare 2 aimbo...   • • Infinity Ward Quote: • • Cheat / Hack Free Games: The biggest benefit of using IWnet by far is the fact that you dont have to worry about joining a server full of aim-bots, wallhacks, or cheaters. Or relying on the server admin of the server to constantly be monitoring, banning, and policing it. Modern Warfare 2 on PC allows us to control the quality of the game much more than ever before as well as utilizing the VAC (Valve-Anti-Cheat) system to keep games clean of hackers and cheaters. • • An aimbot (sometimes called auto-aim ) is a type of computer game bot used in multiplayer first-person shooter games to provide varying levels of target acquisition assistance to the player.[1] As it gives the user an unfair advantage over unaided players, it is considered cheating and is often frowned upon by honest players. • Aimbots have varying levels of effectiveness. Some aimbots can do all of the aiming and shooting, requiring the user to move into a position where the opponents are visible; this level of automation usually makes it difficult to hide an aimbot--for example, the player might make inhumanly fast turns that always end with his or her crosshairs targeting an opponent's head. Highly-skilled players are frequently accused of using such programs, and numerous anti-cheat mechanisms have been employed by companies such as Valve to prevent their use and thus avoid such accusations. • Some games, including GoldenEye 007, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, Timesplitters, Half-Life 2, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Call of Duty: World at War, have auto-aim as an option in the game. This is not the same as an aimbot; it simply helps the user to aim when playing offline against computer opponents usually by slowing the movement of 'looking/aiming' whilst the crosshair is on or near a target. It is common for console FPS games to have this feature to balance out the lack of precision, compared to using a mouse on a PC game, in using analog sticks to aim. • • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2[10] (also referred to as simply Modern Warfare 2 or Call of Duty 6[11]) is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Officially announced on February 11, 2009,[12] the game was released worldwide on November 10, 2009.[5] It is the sixth installment of the Call of Duty series[13] and the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, continuing along the same storyline.[12][14] It was released in conjunction with two other Call of Duty games: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized for the Nintendo DS,[15] and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex, a port of Call of Duty 4 adapted by Treyarch for the Wii console.[16] In addition, a comic book series based on one of the game's characters will also be produced, entitled Modern Warfare 2: Ghost.[17] • The game takes place five years after the previous installment. The campaign mode is divided between the multinational counter-terrorist group, Task Force 141, which is tasked with eliminating ultranationist Vladimir Makarov, and the U.S. Army Rangers, who are tasked with defending the United States from an audacious Russian invasion. Settings for the game include Afghanistan, Rio de Janeiro, Siberia, and Washington D.C. • Modern Warfare 2 has received highly positive reviews from various gaming websites, attaining a 94% aggregate score on Metacritic, with praise stemming primarily from its in-depth multiplayer component. Upon its release, the game sold approximately 4.7 million copies worldwide in 24 hours.[18]
