I’m so proud of this song because it’s some of my absolute best lyrical writing and one of my very best vocal performances- • It comes from a place of truth • This song was written for someone who I love very much that I saw go through so much pain that I felt helpless to stop- even though I was so happy. It was like we were living on two different earths, I was stood at the shore watching them burn at sea. • The only remedy we could find would be to dance and sing our troubles away and for a short while I would see the pain leave them.
