It sits along the River Coln, a tranquil setting that adds to the village’s picturesque quality. Arlington Row, a row of weavers' cottages built in the 17th century, represents a perfect example of preserved historical architecture. • Originally constructed in the 1380s as a monastic wool store and converted into cottages for weavers in the 17th century, these stone cottages, with their steeply pitched roofs and distinctive Cotswold limestone, symbolize traditional English rural life. • Bibury village is surrounded by lush meadows, gentle hills, and vibrant greenery, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere.
