Gandy Creek Dispersed Camping Area is a free boondocking and primitive camping location in West Virginia. In this video, we visit the Gandy Creek Dispersed Camping Area on County Road 29 in Randolph County in May 2020. There are 17 campsites that offer up to 14 days free camping along scenic Gandy Creek. An extensive network of backcountry trails, trout fishing, and peaceful natural beauty make this a wonderful camping excursion. The Seneca Creek Backcountry may be accessed from trail heads along Gandy Creek. Be sure to pack out all trash. There is no AT T or Verizon cellular service in this area.
