In this video we are discussing and giving a retrospective to the third season of Ren Stimpy. Giving a general overall perspective on how I view this season and how it fit into the Nickelodeon landscape in 1993-1994. Even though this show has a controversial creator behind it we talk about the work, the imagery and the characters of whats being told and shown to kids. As well questioning wether this show was really a kids show or not. • We will also be diving into why John Krisfalucsi was fired from Nickelodeon in this time period and what really happened behind the scenes and how people at his company Spumco really felt about him as a boss. • The series follows the adventures of the title characters: Ren Höek, an emotionally unstable and sociopathic Chihuahua; and Stimpy, a good-natured yet dimwitted cat.
