#blacksmith #blacksmithing • In this video, we show the construction of the chessboard. Erik and Ethan cut out and hammer texture 4x4 squares of brass and zinc sheet, These squares are then antiqued and riveted to a steel substrate. The frame for the chessboard is made from 2x1/2 channel that has been flattened somewhat to create a wood trim like a cross-section.
