Padmapani Lokeshvara

Padmapani (lotus holder) is a Sanskrit term referring to Lokeshvara, the bodhisattva, having one face and two hands. The left-hand holds the stem of a blossoming lotus flower. Based on the current evidence, it can be said that Padmapani is a general term referring to Lokeshvara. According to Nepalese sources, he should be a standing figure with one face and two arms, holding a lotus.
