How did this HEDGEHOG get stuck in a garage door

We've seen many things at Wildlife Aid, but this particular rescue proved to be another first for Simon! • We were recently called out to rescue a hedgehog that had become stuck in a garage door. Once we arrived it became clear that this was going to be far from easy - the hedgehog had become wedged in a gap just 1 inch wide! • Although getting the frightened animal out was very tricky for Simon, the hedgehog had another problem... The trauma of the door had resulted in 'pop off syndrome' - where the orbicularis muscle (usually used to let them curl up) slipped over the top of the pelvis and was stuck on the poor hogs back.
