Big shout out to Tom Davies the @GeoWizard himself for making these straight line missions a thing. #StraightLinemisson #challenge #hiking • We chose an Ultimate 26km straight line rivals mission crossing Forest of Bowland ANOB and Ribble Valley parish with 1 overnight wild camp, fully unsupported. Wild camping in a classic 80s tent - Vintage Pheonix Phreak - made in Birmingham. across mountains, freezing rivers and farmland. Full of excitement, drama, pain and one rather angry landowner. • No walls or fences were damaged on this mission, and we practiced Leave No Trace - LNT - wild camping and hiking. Every landowner we had a face-2-face with allowed us to continue on our daft mission. For day 2 then we also get joined on this straight line mission by Tim after we get off the moors.
