It was around 12:30 PM but there were not many people. The store spaces were vacant more than half I think. The mall is converting to retail and housing property and Costco. I am not sure the Costco opening date though. Opened in August 1980, it currently houses 119 stores. It serves the Tri-City area (Fremont, Newark and Union City). The mall underwent extensive renovations that were completed in early 2017.
