A sabzi made with light thick green chillies along with masalas and crushed peanuts. Quick to prepare and delicious to eat with phulkas or bhakri. • MIRCHICHI BHAJI • Ingredients • 10-12 thick light green chillies • 3-4 tbsps oil • 1 tsp cumin seeds • 1 tbsp chopped garlic • 2 medium onions, sliced • Salt to taste • 10-12 curry leaves • ½ tsp red chilli powder • ½ tsp turmeric powder • 1 tsp coriander powder • ½ tsp garam masala powder • ¼ cup roasted and powdered peanuts • 2-3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnish • Jowar bhakri for serving • Method • 1. Remove the stems, sit the chillies and chop roughly. • 2. Heat oil in kadai. Add cumin seeds and once they start to change colour, add garlic and sauté till golden brown. • 3. Add onions, salt and sauté till golden brown. • 4. Add curry leaves and mix. Add green chillies and mix. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. • 5. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and mix well. • 6. Add powdered peanuts and mix well. Add ½ cup water and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes. • 7. Add coriander leaves and mix. • 8.
