The mobile mammography unit's mission is simple: to provide mammograms to those who don’t have access to the routine screening, which is critical for the early detection of breast cancer. The Cleveland Clinic Cancer Community Outreach Patient Navigation team works hard to bring the mobile mammography unit to communities where its services are needed most. The team is also actively creating partnerships with organizations to create more opportunities for mammogram screenings.
