PowerPro vs Spiderwire Ultracast InvisiBraid Casting Test

I have been curious to know if the braid that I’ve been using for the past 10+ years (PowerPro) is any better or worse than other options. • I decided to test my favorite brand against some other top brands to see if the line I use is the best. • Many members have asked me to do a review on Spiderwire Invisi-Braid, so I decided to make that the first line that I test head-to-head against Power Pro. • Here are the 3 core factors that I’ll be testing for these lines: • Casting Distance • Knot Strength • Abrasion Resistance Strength • In this video, I'm testing the casting distance of each line to see which line will carry your bait or lure father. • You can see my full casting test for these lines here: • https://www.saltstrong.com/articles/s... • For these tests, we created some controls to make sure the results are as accurate as possible. The controls are: • 1. Both lines are brand new, day one out of the box • 2. Both lines are listed at 10 lb test • 3. Both lines are rigged on the exact same rod • 4. Both lines are rigged on the exact same reel • 5. The casting weights were the exact same size and shape • To keep it easy to see, we have two different color lines.
