Coconut cake and caramel • Subscribe to not miss the next one • Ingredients • For the mass: • 50 g of lard / butter • 50 gr of sugar • 1 egg at room temperature • 1 yolk at room temperature • 150 gr of flour • 1 tsp baking powder • A pinch of salt • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence • For the filling and topping: • 1/2 kg of Dulce de leche Repostero • 200 gr of grated coconut • 2 eggs • 250 gr of sugar • preparation: • 1. Beat the butter together with sugar. • 2. Add the egg, the yolk and the vanilla essence and mix well until integrated. • 3. Mix the flour with the baking powder, the salt and add to the preparation in two or three parts. • 4. Mix to form a bun. • 5. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 - 30 minutes. • 6. Sprinkle the counter with a little flour and roll out the cold dough to a thickness of approximately 5 mm. • 7. Line a pan of 24 or 26 cm in diameter. Puncture the base to prevent it from inflating. • 8. Cook in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 10 minutes. • 9. Take the dough out of the oven and wait for it to cool. • 10. For the filling, mix the coconut, sugar and eggs. • 11. Place the Dulce de Leche on the dough and add on top, with your hands and without crushing the coconut mixture. • 12.
